Lloyd Lewis Notes About Thomas F. Lewis irnatural • Born in Brooklyn, New York on March 26, 1957 • Died in Brooklyn, New York on August 1, 1924 • Thomas was a stern man. He expected much from his children. He was rather hard on them or so they thought. • He became the president of the first savings and loan association in the United States -- Brooklyn savings and loan association. I have a copy of his business card somewhere. • He apparently was not a wise more sophisticated man. He had a partner or associate who did him in. He ended up penniless. • He was a man of small stature, though larger than his father, Henry William Lewis. • Died of throat cancer. |
